Building a new Home?

Some people consider building a new home to be one of the more stressful tasks in life and it can really cause a lot of sleepless nights. We like to think we take all that stress away from the electrical aspect of the project by working closely with you and your builder to make sure everything goes along smoothly throughout the process. During your build Chris will walk you through every step of the process from drawing up your electrical plans, designing your lighting layouts, and providing you with everything you need to know. This ranges from choosing the right lights to adding that little bit extra by fitting a stylish cover plate to that light switch.

Fitting MCBs & RCDs makes for a far safer board
If your switchboard looks a little bit like this, then it may be time to consider upgrading it. By fitting RCD (Risidual current devices) and new MCB's (minitature circuit breakers) to your switchboard you will dramatically decrease the time it takes for a fuse to activate in the event of a fault. This makes for a safer home. It is also far easier for the client to see if a fuse has tripped.
It is likely that if you have this type of fusing on your switchboard that the wiring is in bad shape as well. If you suspect your wiring is in need of replacing, then give us a call and we will come and inspect your home for a re-wire..
